A new play by Paul Herzberg which IF organised a reading of with their partner, JW3, with a cast led by Sir David Suchet. Inspired by Herzberg’s extraordinary father, this is an intergenerational story set in the 1978 Winter of Discontent, on the cusp of Mrs Thatcher’s election. As the snow and bin bags pile high, a family gathers for Christmas and unexpected visitors cause family secrets to be confronted across the dinner table.
Commissioned as a screenplay by IF, the piece is currently being explored with producers as a film, stage play and radio drama.
Cast of six.
